Notes on engraving and using round and square seals
1. How to stamp round and square
When using round or square seals to stamp on business documents and certificates, please note:
- The stamp must be clear, neat, in the correct direction and with the correct ink;
- When stamping a signature, it must cover 1/3 of the signature on the left side;
- The seal on the documents and papers of the enterprise must be stamped on the left or right margin of the document, from 2 pages or more so that all pages of the document have information about the seal;
- The hanging seal on the document must be stamped on the left side of the first page, covering part of the name of the agency, organization or title in the document.
For the remaining square seals that do not have legal value, the stamping method and ink color will be decided by the individual.
2. Seal content
The square and round seals of enterprises or business households must not use the following words, images and symbols in the seal:
- Images of national flags, national emblems, Party flags;
- Images, symbols, names of state agencies;
- Words and symbols that violate Vietnamese customs, history, culture and ethics;
- Comply with copyright laws and related laws when using words and images in the content or form of the seal sample.
